National Spots!
Soapbox has great news to report for the beginning of May!
Soapbox has had continued success with national retailer Aaron’s. They have entrusted Soapbox to help with their new brand imaging. Audio Engineer Tyler Davis and Compositor Brian Simmons have worked on multiple spots with Creative Director David Wolff.
Fox recently chose Soapbox Studios to record talent for Seth McFarlane’s hit American Dad. Former Denver Bronco’s running back Shannon Sharpe came into Soapbox to record his spot with Audio Engineer JC Richardson.

Nikos in Nica!
Our sound designer/composer Nikos Mavrommatis just came back from a
trip to Nicaragua with his family. Nica is the second poorest
country in the western hemisphere behind Haiti and the gap between
the haves and have-nots is one of the biggest in Latin America.
Apart from enjoying the colonial architecture, active volcanos and
pristine pacific coastline Nikos connected with a local grass-roots
social charity, Centro Social Tio Antonio and delivered soccer balls
and boxing gear for Tio Antonio’s sports programs. The programs aimed
at giving kids at risk of falling into drugs or gangs a way to
channel their energy in a positive way. Soapbox proudly supported his
effort along with Decatur Boxing Club and individual donations. Nikos came back charmed by the warmth and optimism of the Nicaraguan people.
The center has programs for almost 200 children ranging from kids
with special needs, medical assistance to infants, giving out shoes,
and financially supporting 7 students through University.
